Responding to the Knit Signal
Just to say, if you've been shocked by the scenes from Haiti, want to help somehow, but aren't quite sure where best to donate to, then Stephanie Pearl McPhee (the Yarn Harlot) makes a pretty good case here for donating to Medecin Sans Frontieres. I went for Shelterbox. They're run from Helston (round the corner from us in Cornwall) and pretty worthy too. 700 shelterboxes with contents on the way, apparently...
